Looking Up a Paygistix / Payment Logistics Payment

On occasion, when processing a charge through Paygistix, the Credit Card Terminal will indicate that the charge was successful, but CheckIn fails to receive and record the confirmation. If this happens, CheckIn can contact Paygistix to confirm that the charge was successful, and add the transaction.

If the payment record is listed, but without confirmation, delete it by clicking on the "Trash Can" icon on the right.

Click the Credit Card payment button as though you were about to process a payment. 

A "Credit Card Payment" dialog box will appear, as usual. 

Instead of clicking "OK," click the "Lookup" button. 

In the next window, click the "Continue" button. 

Checkin will send a request to Paygistix, and if the transaction is found, it will be added in CheckIn, and you'll see a confirmation.

CheckIn will not rerun the charge, it will only send a query to Paygistix to search for the transaction

Troubleshooting Credit Card Payments

Sometimes, the above steps will not work and you're stuck with a payment on your invoice that has the red hexagon symbol.

When that happens, you will want to click on that button on the payment line and manually enter the Ref # (look it up in your Paygistx portal) into the field. It will update the payment and link it to the correct charge on the Paygistix side.
