Add shipping to a PO

When you create a PO, it may not be immediately apparent how to properly add shipping.

Once you're done adding all your line items you will want to post the PO. That step will lock your line items and add a new box in the middle of the window that allows you to add Total Shipping:

After entering the total amount of shipping there are 3 main ways to allocate it.

1. You can manually assign a portion of the shipping to each line item.
2. You can have CheckIn split shipping equally between all line items.
3. Prior to posting the PO, you can add a shipping line item with zero cost, then assign all the shipping that that line. This is handy if you want to account for shipping but do not plan to adjust your selling prices based on shipping costs.
